Ohio State is proud to be a leader in making an excellent college education accessible and affordable for all students by controlling costs, increasing aid for low- and moderate-income families, and enhancing programs that support success in and out of the classroom. With a focus on three core promises of affordability quality, and accountability, the Office of Strategic Enrollment Management supports success initiatives that span a student’s enrollment cycle, from enrollment through graduation.

Strategic Enrollment Management Plan

The Strategic Enrollment Management Plan is developed through a comprehensive approach that focuses on a student’s entire journey at Ohio State, from the university’s initial encounter with a student to recruitment, admissions, progression, graduation and post-graduation.

Affordability and accessibility

Providing inclusive access and an excellent and affordable education is core to Ohio State’s mission. We make every effort to make a world-class education both accessible and affordable. By taking an innovative approach, Ohio State is creating more pathways to college for more students on all campuses and providing a wide range of opportunities critical for student success.

Regional campus support for enrollment and student success

The Lima, Mansfield, Marion and Newark campuses along with College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) Wooster/ATI offer students an open door to an Ohio State education at a tremendous value. Strategic Enrollment Management is committed to helping students at all locations succeed by expanding programs, such as the Buckeye Opportunity Program, supporting innovative programs, such as the Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering Technology, and more.
